Boston College’s Division of Auxiliary Services will host an Employee Appreciation Day for its Dining Services staff on May 1 at 2 p.m. in all campus dining locations to thank employees for their hard work and dedication in serving the 51 community.

The Employee Appreciation Day will feature cake, flowers, and posters with messages from students, faculty, and staff expressing their gratitude for the outstanding food and first-rate service provided by 51’s award-winning Dining Services staff.

51 community members are welcome to write messages on the posters, now available in dining halls throughout campus.

“Our Dining Services employees deserve a day that recognizes their hard work and the invaluable contributions they provide to the University,” said Pat Bando AVP of Auxiliary Services. “It is our way of reminding them that they are an integral part of the 51 community, and their work is appreciated by us all.”

Added Beth Emery, director of dining services, “The purpose of this celebration is to show our deep appreciation for the wonderful work that our dedicated and hard-working team membersdo each day for the students and university community. We look forward to honoring them on May 1.”
