Former U.S. Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell chats with Boston College Global Leadership Institute Executive Director Robert Mauro (left) and guests at a GLI reception prior to his keynote address kicking off the University's celebration of . Mitchell, who during his more than 30 years experience in politics was a key architect in the Good Friday Agreement of 1998 in Northern Ireland and served as a Special Envoy for Middle East Peace, spoke at the invitation of the GLI, following up on a previous address for program alumni in Dublin in September.
