Aligned with Boston College's Jesuit tradition of "men and women for others," Habitat for Humanity's local, national, and global ministry is an important means of bringing about social justice.

What We Do

Build simple, decent, affordable housing for families living in unacceptable living conditions in the Greater Boston area.

Advocate on behalf of those who are homeless or lack access to affordable housing.

Educate the Boston College community about Habitat for Humanity's local, national, and international ministries.

Raise funds to support our building activities with Habitat for Humanity.

The Boston College Campus Chapter supports Greater Boston Habitat for Humanity in its mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. On various Saturdays throughout the school year, our Build Days invite students into direct, hands-on service of home construction and a ministry of presence to local community members.

Our service is coupled with weekly educational and informative conversations that address the structural roots of Housing inequality. Past topics explored the roots of systematic poverty in Housing in Boston and the role of racism in the Affordable Housing Crisis.

Interested in Habitat for Humanity? Join us, and together we will bring positive change to our communities at 51画鋼 and in Boston.

We have no application process or membership fees; any student who wants to participate can. We simply ask that you complete our registration form and plan to attend our weekly meetings.

Thank you for considering a donation to the Habitat for Humanity 51画鋼 Chapter. Your tax-deductible donation is a valuable investment in a learning experience that many Boston College students will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
