Profile

A Massachusetts native and Boston College alum, Lou was most recently the vice president of Event Operations and General Manager of Affiliate Leagues for the National Basketball Association.

With over 27 years of event experience with the NBA, Lou has managed the day-to-day logistics of the league’s overall event calendar. This often includes arena operations, hotel management, transportation, social functions, guest experience, tickets, credentials, grassroots fan activities, team charters, security, IT, and game tickets. He has utilized these skills at events such as the NBA All-Star Weekend, NBA Draft, NBA Finals, NBA Global Games, and the NBA Draft Lottery, as well as all events relating to the WNBA and NBA G League. In 2020 and 2021, he spent six months in Florida overseeing various aspects of the NBA, WNBA, and G League season bubbles.


Lou also oversees Event Operations at global basketball competitions for USA Basketball’s Men’s and Women’s National teams, which has included the Summer Olympics in Sydney, Beijing, London, Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo—as well as the World Championships in the U.S., Turkey, Spain, China and the Phillippines.  


He is also on the Boston College Master of Science Sports Administration Advisory Board.
