From May 29 to June 7, adidas will donate one dollar for every hour of tracked exercise activity to the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. This global digital sporting event, named the #HOMETEAMHERO Challenge, aims to reach a total of $1 million in donations through activity tracked on the apps Garmin, Zwift, Polar, Suunto, JoyRun, adidas Running, and adidas Training.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Alexion's goal is to manage a robust supply chain that delivers medicines that are secure, sterile, and meet its rigorous quality standards. In addition, due to the life-saving nature of its medicines, the company strives to maintain sufficient inventory levels to ensure their supply to the patients who rely on them. Alexion has taken proactive measures to mitigate the risk of potential interruptions in supply, and it is continuing to actively monitor this dynamic and rapidly evolving situation worldwide. Similarly, Alexion is committed to serving local communities through volunteerism, even when circumstances do not allow us to do so in person. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and local stay-at-home orders, Alexion has begun offering to employees.
According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, Apple will be donating 10 million n95 respirator masks to the U.S. and Europe in order to fight Coronavirus.
Applied Materials has partnered with Give2Asia to provide medical equipment to professionals in Wuhan who are combatting Coronavirus.
To meet urgent health needs, in the U.S., Europe, and China, and, at its manufacturing sites in Austin, Texas, Kalispell, Montana, and Singapore, enterprising engineers are making personal protective equipment and using 3D printers to create face shields and touchless door handles for use in their local communities.
The Baxter International Foundation is supporting COVID-19 response efforts by providing financial support to groups on the front lines of the pandemic- addressing the needs of patients, health workers and communities. As of the first half of the year, its humanitarian partners have distributed more than $6 million of Baxter products and the Foundation has provided more than $2.4 million in grants to charitable organizations. This includes: A $1 million grant to Save the Children, geographic-specific support to Direct Relief, Project Hope, Americares, the Red Cross, the iBio Institute and United Way, and funds for the UN Foundation/WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, IsraAID, Partners in Health and World Vision’s COVID-19 Global Emergency Response, Feeding America, and the Canadian Red Cross.
BD has provided product donations, including catheters, flush products, syringes, sharps, and blood collection tubes valued at approximately $300,000 to the local Red Cross in Wuhan, which will be used to outfit two new military hospitals that will accommodate coronavirus-infected patients.
Blackbaud will be making a donation to the World Health Organization and the UN Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund to put technology in place to fight the spread of the virus. This technology will help track the virus and provide powerful insights into how it is spreading, ensuring patients are getting the care they need; improving the buying and shipping of essential medical supplies; and accelerating efforts to develop a vaccine.
In response to frontline healthcare systems and community organizations needing personal protective equipment (PPE) to fill a short-term supply gap Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota engaged both Blue Cross associates and volunteers from around Minnesota. Allina Health collected more than 72,100 hand-sewn masks at its local clinics and hospitals. Kits for 14,000 masks were distributed by community partners Sew Good Goods and Treadle Yard Goods in April and May. Through a donation to Sew Good Goods, Blue Cross funded 100 kits with surgical drape material that were prepared by partner Knit & Bolt for community volunteers to make 2500 N95 mask covers for North Memorial Health in mid-April.
Campbell Soup Company is donating $1 million in cash and food to food banks in the communities where it operates. In addition to funding, Campbell will dedicate production runs in plants to assist local food banks until the pandemic subsides. Thirty-three Campbell hometowns across the country, from Ohio to Puerto Rico, will benefit from direct assistance.
Charles Schwab & Co. donated thousands of N95 masks and nitrile gloves from their emergency kits to local health care facilities across the country.
CITGO Petroleum Corporation, in partnership with the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO), donated 150 Kindle tablets to the Houston and Alief Independent School Districts to help support low-income students' e-learning needs during the COVID-19 school closures and subsequent move to remote learning platforms.
CMS Energy Corporation [via communication with 51²è¹ÝCCC]
CMS Energy Corporation contributed $100,000 to Michigan State University to support the work of MSU Extension’s process to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 using commercial ovens to decontaminate used N95 masks. This will help alleviate the shortage of personal protective equipment for health care professionals and first responders and allow masks to be used an additional 20 times.
CommScope is working with nonprofit organizations and its partners and employees to provide much needed assistance around the world for the COVID-19 pandemic. In China, Europe, and the U.S., CommScope donated product and expedited delivery of in-building wireless systems as new hospitals were built to support COVID-19 patients. Similarly, in conjunction with the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), CommScope donated outdoor wireless access points and switches, free support for a year, and cash to assist with pop-up centers for emergency healthcare delivery and homework hot spots. CommScope is also providing technical support for schools in their transformation towards distance learning, producing face shields for frontline workers, and made financial donations to several organizations.
Cox Enterprises was able to fill a portion of the critical shortage of medical gowns and other protective equipment by donating 6,000 disposable coveralls to Piedmont and Emory Healthcare on April 16.
A group of Deere employees in Moline, IL continue to produce protective face shields for healthcare workers. As of May 1, the team has shipped more than 200,000 face shields and plans to produce another 200,000. While initial orders were delivered to healthcare workers in communities where our employees live and work, plans have expanded to provide shields to healthcare workers in more than a dozen states/Canadian provinces. Springfield, Missouri, was one of the most recent communities to take delivery of a shipment.
John Deere employees in India to communities and personal protective equipment to hospitals and healthcare workers. The initial relief effort focused on food insecure areas in four cities – Pune, Dewas, Sirhind, and Nagpur – where Deere has factories or offices.
In China during the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak, to help build two new hospitals in less than two weeks.
Dow to expand hand sanitizer production at additional sites in North America, Europe and Latin America. There are five Dow sites expected to produce more than 200 metric tons, equivalent to more than 880,000 eight-ounce bottles. The product will be donated to local health systems and government agencies. Deliveries and additional production is expected to begin this week.
Dow announced a to help fund COVID-19 relief efforts with donations going towards global relief organizations, as well as non-profits in communities where Dow operates. In addition, the Company announced it has begun producing hand sanitizer at its manufacturing site in Stade, Germany, and is repurposing an existing facility to produce hand sanitizer in the U.S. $2 million for immediate support of impacts caused by COVID-19. Funds will support the COVID-19 Solidarity Fund, Direct Relief, and local and regional non-profit organizations in Dow communities around the globe.
DuPont is has donated three types of personal protective garments to the most affected areas through the China Red Cross Foundation, to protect healthcare workers and front-line personnel. DuPont also contributed probiotic products to help regulate and improve immunity. These donated materials have been allocated by the China Red Cross Foundation to the most needed areas.
Since the beginning of 2020, FedEx has sent 10 humanitarian aid shipments of medical supplies to China in collaboration with Direct Relief. Those shipments have contained surgical caps, medical gowns, coveralls, masks, gloves, shoe covers and face shields. FedEx is also assisting a network of COVID-19 testing centers by dedicating 28 flight legs in order to move the test specimens from remote areas.

In addition to other COVID Relief efforts, $70,000 will be granted to Native CDFI’s in their footprint. Native CDFIs were not authorized underwriters in the PPP for either round one or two because they were not SBA certified and/or their portfolio size was too small to meet requirements.
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation today announced it will contribute $40,000 to Coastal Foodshed to sponsor and coordinate the New Bedford COVID-19 Meal Delivery Project. Starting Monday and running for four weeks initially, Tia Maria’s European Cafe and Destination Soups will prepare 100 daily meals for older adults and others in need in New Bedford, Mass. As part of this project, meals will be delivered to homes by New Bedford-based Yes! We Van commuter transportation services. As a result of Coastal Foodshed’s sponsorship of the meals program, at least eight local people will now be back to work helping others.
Hilton and American Express have partnered to donate up to 1 million hotel rooms to frontline medical professionals during the COVID-19 crisis. Beginning next week, Hilton and American Express will make rooms available without charge to doctors, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, and other frontline medical staff who need a place to sleep, recharge, or isolate from their families through the end of May.
Building on its partnership with American Express to offer 1 million hotel rooms for medical professionals, to provide healthy, fresh meals to medical professionals staying at participating Hilton hotels in New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. – with more cities to come.
JetBlue is donating free flights to healthcare workers heading to New York State.
Northwell Direct and JetBlue to provide the airline with a comprehensive set of COVID-19 services and programs to support its crewmembers (employees) across JetBlue’s operation and add a clinical layer to the airline’s Safety From the Ground Up program. The customized set of solutions from Northwell Direct – a Northwell Health company that provides a broad range of health care solutions to employers in the tri-state area – will support JetBlue as it considers testing approaches for its teams in New York City, clinical concierge services for crewmembers, and consulting and advisory services for JetBlue’s leadership. The program, which is expected to evolve and expand based on needs, is designed to detect and prevent COVID-19 and to aid in the recovery of the airline industry. “Keeping our crewmembers healthy is an important pillar of our Safety from the Ground Up program. By partnering with a healthcare leader like Northwell, we are leveraging their experience to provide our crewmembers with confidence that they are healthy,†said Joanna Geraghty, president and chief operating officer, JetBlue. “Our crewmembers are doing an exceptional job in these challenging times, and are executing our Safety from the Ground Up program every day to make sure the JetBlue experience is as safe as it can be.â€
Just Born Quality Confections has donated almost 15,000 gloves, 120 N95 masks, candy, Easter Baskets and PEEPS® Crocs to our local hospitals.
The Kroger Family of Companies announced the launch of an expanded Dairy Rescue Program, designed to support children and families during the COVID-19 pandemic through the summer months. In partnership with its dairy cooperative suppliers and farmers across the Midwest and South, Kroger will process and donate about 200,000 gallons of additional milk to Feeding America food banks and community organizations through the end of August, uplifting its Zero Hunger | Zero Waste initiative.
Lowes made a $10 million donation in essential protective products to do its part in helping to keep medical professionals on the frontlines of this crisis healthy and safe.
MetLife Foundation committed $25 million to the global response to support communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. To help protect first responders and others, MetLife donated thousands of medical supplies to locations around the world, including facemasks, hand sanitizers, and disinfectant wipes. MetLife made properties available as housing for healthcare workers, and as hospitals, if needed. MetLife established a new paid voluntary leave program for its in-house medical professionals to help fight COVID-19. MetLife medical professionals who volunteer will be deployed in two-week rotations to hospitals and other healthcare facilities in locations across the country.

Morton Salt and its affiliate company in Canada, Windsor Salt, are working with Feeding America, Food Banks Canada, and other partners to make product donations throughout North America, including more than 25,000 pounds of salt for La Tablée des Chefs to produce more than 1,600,000 meals for people in need in Quebec.
Motorola Solutions and the Motorola Solutions Foundation are committing over $1 million in cash and in-kind donations to support first responders and front line health care professionals whose heroic efforts are keeping everyone protected and safe.
Nasdaq is reserving an estimated $1 million of advertising time on the Nasdaq MarketSite Tower in Times Square for Public Service Address messages related to social distancing and other efforts to #flattenthecurve. In addition, to support local health care providers, Nasdaq has donated 12,000 face masks this month to the Greater New York Hospital Association, and has an on-going effort to collect additional face masks from our clients, partners, and vendors.
Nike and a group of athletes are joining forces to donate 30,000 pairs of shoes to healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In recognition of frontline healthcare workers combating COVID-19 around the world, in the United States and local organizations across Europe to donate more than 140,000 pieces of footwear, apparel and equipment globally.
Northrop Grumman is also focused on in-kind donations, including using 3-D printers from across the company to produce thousands of face shields a week for hospitals.
Novartis announced a new initiative to help patients in low-income and lower-middle-income countries (LIC; LMIC) access affordable medicines to treat the major symptoms of COVID-19—a critical need in the absence of a vaccine or curative treatment. Inflammation and respiratory problems linked to COVID-19 can cause severe medical complications and can lead to death in some people, putting immense strain on fragile healthcare systems. The medicines will be made available to governments, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and other institutional customers in up to 79 eligible countries at zero-profit to support financially-strained healthcare systems. Countries will have the flexibility to select the medicines in the portfolio that meet their healthcare needs.
PSEG has donated 50,000 N95 masks to help health care workers and first responders who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Qlik has donated data analytics technology as part of a partnership with WellSky, a health and community care technology and services company, to deliver a COVID-19 heat map feature to home-based care providers. Providers receive free access to this data that can help them more efficiently manage their PPE and better protect their staff.
Qurate Retail Group, with member company QVC, is donating QVC and HSN airtime to run COVID-19 PSAs from the non-profit Ad Council.
Regeneron is helping frontline healthcare workers by working with the Afya Foundation to send medical supplies to New-York based hospitals.

S&P Global is providing hospitals and governments with complimentary access to its Panjiva supply chain data to help track and identify the supply of ventilators and personal protective equipment. The Company has also donated over 100,000 medical-grade face masks around the world. In India, CRISIL employees are using their corporate kitchen to serve 10,000 meals per day to the most vulnerable in Mumbai during the current lockdown.
On top of Target’s previous donations of anti-viral and N95 respirator masks to first responders and healthcare professionals at more than 50 organizations across the country, the retailer also announced that it will donate an additional 2 million KN95 respirator masks to the medical community. It will continue to explore ways to secure additional inventory for those in critical need.
AVANGRID, Inc. announced it is donating a total of 31,000 protective masks to hospitals and other institutions facing critical shortages of protective gear during the coronavirus pandemic. The donation includes 16,000 surgical masks and 15,000 N95 respirators, which will be distributed in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New York, where Avangrid Networks companies provide electricity and natural gas services. The masks are being shipped today to receiving centers in each state. In addition to the donation of masks, the AVANGRID companies have also taken steps to reinforce the electric system that provides energy to hospitals and other critical facilities whose services are essential during the crisis. Company personnel have been inspecting the electrical circuits that serve those facilities and performing maintenance work to help prevent service disruptions.
The UPS Foundation and medical product donors and relief partners MAP International, MedShare, and Good 360 provided more than 4 million respirator masks, 11,000 protective suits and 280,000 nitrile gloves to healthcare workers.
UPS subsidiary UPS Flight Forward and CVS Health Corporation from a CVS pharmacy to The Villages, Florida for the largest U.S. retirement community, home to more than 135,000 residents. The service will use Matternet’s M2 drone system. Drone transport offers a fast delivery option for medicines that are time-sensitive, while supporting social-distancing efforts. Drone delivery options provide individuals with a convenient alternative to visiting a pharmacy. This program can also help prioritize the protection of our healthcare heroes.
The USAA Foundation, Inc. is supporting three San Antonio organizations, Alamo Colleges Foundation, BiblioTech and SAISD Foundation, to provide needed broadband infrastructure and devices to students and low-to-moderate income households in San Antonio primarily within SAISD, where an estimated 60 percent of high school students do not have access to the internet at home. The USAA Foundation, Inc. is supporting Semper Fi & America’s Fund, providing immediate financial assistance to combat wounded, ill and injured service members. They are also partnering with Operation Gratitude, to help provide care packages for first responders and healthcare professionals across six cities where it has a corporate presence.
Verizon Media donated $10 million in advertising inventory to support mental and public health response efforts to address the novel coronavirus. The inventory will be used to raise awareness, mobilize resources, and provide campaign support including creative services and management. The company also launched Yahoo Life, a site focused on news, resources and content dedicated to wellbeing.
Walgreens has donated 1,500 thermometers to local health departments in Santa Clara and Alameda Counties in California.
The National Disability Institute launches COVID-19 Financial Resilience Center to provide cost-free financial resources for people with disabilities. With support from the Wells Fargo Foundation, the goal of the Center is to promote effective financial decision making and stability in response to the adverse economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Wells Fargo Foundation is collaborating with national nonprofits to rapidly expand access to virtual resources and financial coaching, direct cash assistance, and other resources to help students and hourly/part-time, lower-income, immigrant, gig workers and other vulnerable populations who are facing immediate and evolving concerns about their financial security. Grant recipients include: Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education, Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, Credit Builders Alliance, National Disability Institute, National Foundation for Credit Counseling, and SAGE USA.
Xilinx has donated $1.1 million for COVID-19 crisis relief. Donations have been made to organizations that are critical to the global effort to combat the pandemic, to the local community in Silicon Valley, and to communities around the world including the World Health Organization, the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) COVID-19 Response Fund, the Silicon Valley Strong Fund and funds for key regions to be distributed by Xilinx regional leadership in support of local needs.

Aflac Incorporated, a leader in supplemental insurance at U.S. worksites, announced it has contributed $5 million to two organizations that are providing assistance for health care workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 global pandemic. The $5 million donation includes $2 million for the Global Center for Medical Innovation (GCMI), a comprehensive innovation center using innovative 3D printing to help support medical device shortages, particularly as it relates to ventilators and protective masks, as well as $3 million for Direct Relief, a humanitarian aid organization providing personal protective equipment (PPE) and essential medical items to health workers responding to the coronavirus. Direct Relief is active in all 50 states. "Whether you have been directly impacted or are witnessing the global pandemic through the media, one thing is very clear: Americans are coming together to address this problem in ways we have not seen in a very long time," Aflac Incorporated Chairman and CEO Dan Amos said. "At Aflac, our mission is to be there for our policyholders in their time of need and provide value for our shareholders. In our minds, there is no better way to accomplish both of these goals than to help fill significant needs in a crisis and by delivering for our customers with more urgency than ever before."

AIG has made a donation to the New York Food Bank, donations in lieu of manpower for some canceled volunteer events, promoting the use of their 2:1 Matching Grants Program, which recently expanded to support organizations based in Canada and the UK.
The Air Products Foundation awarded a $100,000 grant, approximately 700,000 renminbi, to assist COVID-19 recovery efforts in China, on top of an earlier donation of 500,000 renminbi, approximately $70,000, made by Air Products China to the Red Cross in China to support the most urgent medical care needs. In addition, Air Products Korea has donated KRW 100 million (equivalent to US 84,000 dollars) to the non-profit organization Community Chest of Korea to help fight against the outbreak.
Akamai Foundation, a charitable fund endowed by Akamai Technologies, Inc. announced that it has launched a multi-tiered, multi-phased global community response to COVID-19 with a US$ 1.1 million pledge to support relief efforts. The goal of the global COVID-19 charitable giving campaign is to provide direct relief in Akamai communities, work hand-in-hand with Akamai employees in giving back, and expand the opportunity for social good beyond Akamai. The greatest portion of the global COVID-19 charitable giving program is directed towards a COVID-19 health and human essential grant program designed to deliver direct funding to organizations in communities where Akamai employees live and work, enabling them to provide critical services in response to the pandemic. Direct grants totaling close to US$ 500,000 are earmarked for 29 nominated charities in 16 countries and 21 cities. Grants provide support for hunger relief, support for health clinics, medical care and respirator purchases; and emergency child care for essential workers and vulnerable families.
The Allstate Foundation is contributing $5 million to accelerate relief and recovery for domestic violence victims, youth in need, first responders and communities at large. Among those funds is $500,000 to help National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) support more than 100 local domestic violence organizations. As one of the most vulnerable populations, victims of domestic violence are especially at risk if they are sheltering in place with their abusers.

The American Electric Power Foundation committed nearly $3 million to support basic human needs and help address the hardships faced by customers and communities. Nearly 80 grants have been made to charitable nonprofit organizations across the AEP service area.
In a time of critical need, Ameriprise Financial is accelerating its corporate donation schedule, making $2.5 million available immediately to nonprofits it supports. The company is expediting the grants to help cover cash flow and general operating expenses during this time of increased economic pressure on nonprofits as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Providing flexible support will help allow the nonprofits to continue to serve their communities and fulfill their missions. The firm is also allocating an additional $100,000 in COVID-19 relief to Feeding America, building on its longstanding commitment to helping end domestic hunger. Since 2009, Ameriprise and its volunteers have provided more than 84 million meals and logged nearly 310,000 volunteer hours to hunger-relief organizations across the country. The company is also donating $25,000 to the Global FoodBanking Network, which helps provide meals to individuals in 30 countries around the world.

In Korea, the company is helping to ensure disadvantaged children and their families gain access to nutritious meals and personal protective equipment. Additionally, by increasing matching funds available to Applied Materials employees, the company is helping its employees contribute to COVID-19 relief efforts in areas where they see the biggest need and continue supporting their favorite charities—all of which will feel the impact of the pandemic.
APS announced a $1 million contribution to help nonprofit agencies with their response to COVID-19. The company will immediately distribute $500,000 to the Arizona Community Foundation and different chapters of United Way throughout Arizona. These funds will support various nonprofit organizations directly assisting individuals and families experiencing hardship due to COVID-19. Through collaboration with a broad range of partners from different sectors, APS will work quickly to assess how the remaining $500,000 commitment can best fill resource needs across Arizona. This additional funding may be issued from the APS Foundation.
AT&T is finalizing its $10 million commitment in 2020 to organizations working to create economic opportunities and foster upward mobility for Black and underserved communities, especially those in situations exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, with a $1 million contribution to Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG). Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) has been helping vulnerable youth overcome significant economic, emotional, social, and academic challenges for 40 years. Even amidst the pandemic and a virtual model, we’re encouraged that JAG participants are still experiencing high rates of graduation and job placements. This recent contribution from was instrumental, as it helped sustain JAG programs nationwide during this year of unprecedented disruption.
Athenahealth is making a donation to the CDC Foundation’s Emergency Response Fund through the ‘All of Us’ campaign for COVID19 response efforts. This donation is being made in honor of healthcare workers across the globe, as they truly are our ‘healthcare heroes’. AthenaHealth is also proud to match up to $100,000 of employee donations to the campaign.

The Banfield Foundation launched a COVID-19 Respond and Rebuild program, committing $500,000 to provide immediate support to organizations helping owned and shelter pets receive care during these unprecedented times. Additionally, Banfield’s associate relief program, the Better Together Fund, expanded its support to include COVID impact in addition to disaster relief and domestic violence. A maximum of $1,000 grants are awarded to qualifying associates to support housing, childcare, and food needs.

Bank of America announced that it will provide up to $250 million in capital to community development financial institutions (CDFIs) by funding loans through the newly established Paycheck Protection Program. In addition, Bank of America will provide up to $10 million in philanthropic grants to help fund the operations of CDFIs. As you know CDFIs are critical sources of capital to small business and the nonprofit sector, so our efforts to support their work is ever important.

In August, after assessing the growing needs for energy assistance in communities across an eight-state footprint, Black Hills Energy announced the donation of an additional $223,500 from its corporate foundation to assist families in need across its service area.
Since mid-March, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation has granted more than $4 million to 95 nonprofits across the state working to meet the needs of communities in response to COVID-19. Efforts supported through Foundation grant funding include providing food to kids, financially insecure families and seniors, supporting healthcare needs, including securing critical supplies for providers, connecting individuals to care and mental health resources, funding direct economic support, housing assistance and keeping families financially stable, sustaining essential services disproportionately affected by stay-at-home orders, such as sober housing, services for sexual assault victims and a limited scope of education-related services, and supporting regional groups organizing disaster response in communities across Louisiana, and supporting nonprofits through community relief funds operated by local community foundations.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Blue Cross), Inc. announced several steps to and not-for-profits during the COVID-19 outbreak. Efforts include: Donating $100,000 to the Boston Resiliency Fund and committing an additional $150,000 to relief efforts across Massachusetts; Donating nearly $50,000 to organizations with whom Blue Cross has had to cancel employee volunteer projects; Honoring all financial commitments for community events, including those that have been cancelled; Launching an online giving platform that enables employees to donate directly to any Massachusetts-based not-for-profit affected by COVID-19, and matching all donations dollar-for-dollar; Launching virtual volunteer initiatives for employees; Ensuring the public has access to accurate, timely news by partnering with The Boston Globe to make its COVID-19 resource center free to the public and by producing original news reporting on what readers need to know about COVID-19 and other health issues via Blue Cross' news service, Coverage. In April, 51²è¹ÝBSMA expanded their efforts to a total of $2 million, reallocating more than $1.75 million in community investments and strategic sponsorships to expedite unrestricted cash to help nonprofits meet operational challenges.

Commitments made by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina to provide financial support to members, employers, providers, and community organizations to address the COVID-19 pandemic are projected to reach up to $593 million, with $318 million in projected costs to improve access to care and $275 million projected to address cash flow challenges facing members, employers and providers. Blue Cross NC’s swift action to increase access to care for members during the COVID-19 crisis is projected to result in up to $313 million in financial support. Blue Cross NC is also immediately providing an additional $5 million to support organizations improving access to food and other critical community needs, and is taking action to improve cash flow for members, employers and providers by providing an additional $275 million.

CenterPoint Energy has announced that its foundation will contribute $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations, agencies and causes that are committed to supporting those who have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. The CenterPoint Energy COVID-19 Relief Fund will include $1 million in direct contributions, as well as up to $500,000 in matching gifts for employees’ contributions to qualifying 501(c)3 organizations. Grants will be provided to qualifying nonprofits across CenterPoint Energy’s utility footprint that are working to assist individuals during the COVID-19 crisis. Employee donations will receive a match of $1.50 for every $1 donated.
Charles Schwab Foundation has committed $1.25 million in philanthropic contributions for a variety of relief efforts. $1 million in direct grants will support food banks and community funds in their 10 main employee centers, the CDC Foundation COVID-19 Response Fund and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Emergency Response Fund.
The Simón BolÃvar Foundation Inc. (SBF), the nonprofit, private foundation of CITGO Petroleum Corporation, is launching a special round of its small grants program to help alleviate the damaging effects of the COVID-19 crisis in Venezuela.
Citizens Bank announced a $5M commitment to support communities and small businesses dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Funding will support local organizations supporting small businesses, nonprofits responding to relief efforts, and small business customers with grant funding.
CMS Energy Corporation [via communication with 51²è¹ÝCCC]
CMS Energy Corporation provided $250,000 to The Michigan Association of United Ways. This funding was distributed to United Way organizations across their service territory to assist low income and ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) residents with basic needs including household supplies, rent, child care, transportation, food and health care. Funds were also contributed directly to Michigan 2-1-1 for additional capacity to address the higher demand as a result of COVID-19.
CMS Energy Corporation awarded $450,000 to eight community action agencies working to meet the emergency needs of low- and moderate-income residents in 43 counties in the Lower Peninsula. Funding is being used to address the needs for increased food distribution sites, increased home delivered meals for children and families, senior quarantine boxes of food and other COVID-19 high risk individuals, as well as hygiene and cleaning supplies and diapers.
CMS Energy Corporation provided $390,000 to The Food Bank Council of Michigan to distribute to its regional food bank network to fill gaps where schools are unable to provide food for children, vulnerable seniors and the anticipated growing need that will surface. This will also support 5,000 quarantine boxes for isolated and home-bound senior citizens.
CMS Energy Corporation matched employee donations of any amount made to qualifying organizations including food banks, homeless shelters, community foundations and United Way are being matched dollar-for-dollar through
May 31, 2020, by the Consumers Energy Foundation.
Clorox chairman and CEO Benno Dorer released a statement addressing Clorox's call to action to support public health in the fight against COVID-19. He announced that Clorox's three priorities are maximizing supply to get its products where they are needed, protecting the health, safety and well-being of its employees, and supporting caregivers on the front lines of fighting coronavirus. Along these lines, Clorox has established an initial $1 million Employee Emergency Relief Fund to provide coronavirus-related support for Clorox employees, and have also donated $5 million to Direct Relief, Centers for Disease Control’s Foundation Emergency Response Fund and the American Red Cross.
CoBank, a cooperative bank serving agribusinesses, rural infrastructure providers and Farm Credit associations throughout the United States, today announced a series of charitable contributions totaling $1.4 million in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a specific focus on relief efforts in rural America. CoBank’s charitable response to COVID-19 will include the following: $1 million increase to Sharing Success program for 2020, $200,000 grant to the National Rural Health Association, $150,000 contribution to University of Colorado Foundation, and $50,000 matching fund for CoBank employees.

Columbia Bank plans to allocate $1 million to fund two new community support initiatives – Pass it On Project for Small Business Recovery and COVID-19 Community Relief Campaign – to support small business and community recovery efforts in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
Columbia will also distribute more than $500,000 to 25 organizations across the Pacific Northwest that are working to provide relief to those affected by COVID-19. Organizations receiving contributions represent all counties with Columbia Bank operations in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Comerica Bank and Comerica Charitable Foundation will invest $4 million in community programming support and businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. These funds will be primarily deployed to Community Development Financial Institutions to support strategic programs designed to meet the needs of small and micro businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19.
CommScope is working with nonprofit organizations and its partners and employees to provide much needed assistance around the world for the COVID-19 pandemic. In China, Europe, and the U.S., CommScope donated product and expedited delivery of in-building wireless systems as new hospitals were built to support COVID-19 patients. Similarly, in conjunction with the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), CommScope donated outdoor wireless access points and switches, free support for a year, and cash to assist with pop-up centers for emergency healthcare delivery and homework hot spots. CommScope is also providing technical support for schools in their transformation towards distance learning, producing face shields for frontline workers, and made financial donations to several organizations.

In response to COVID-19, Deloitte committed $2 million USD to support funding the unique and varying response and relief efforts of local communities across the country. On March 31st, the Dutch Bros Foundation pledged $1 million - $500,000 to the United Way's Safety Net Fund, $400,000 to provide food security and $100,000 distributed to their shops to support first responders, hospital and healthcare workers, and critical community service providers in the form of gift cards and product donations.
Electronic Arts Inc. and FIFA announced the EA SPORTS™ FIFA 20 Stay and Play Cup, as part of EA’s “Stay Home, Play Together.†initiative, that brings together and encourages the sharing of creative content, livestreams and other ways to bring the gaming community together while staying safe by staying home. EA will also donate US$1M to Global Giving’s Coronavirus Relief Fund to support ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts as part of the tournament and its “Stay Home, Play Together†initiative. The tournament will also feature ways for fans and viewers to donate and support the ongoing global relief efforts to help tackle and stop the spread of COVID-19. This is in addition to donations that FIFA, who are partnering on the FIFA 20Stay and Play Cup, have previously made to other charitable organizations supporting COVID-19 relief.

The EQT Foundation awarded $360,000 in grant funding to the local community foundations and food banks throughout the company’s operational footprint of southwestern Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and eastern Ohio. Six community foundation’s each received $50,000 donations that will go to support nonprofits most in need as a result of the pandemic, and between $5,000 - $10,000 was awarded to seven food banks helping to ensure mobile food distribution events continue to take place.
Evergy is committing $2.2 million to help agencies, communities and customers respond to and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing its 2020
planned community giving to more than $8 million. Evergy will support the community through emergency nonprofit grants, small business assistance, and support for customers in need of assitance with energy payments.
FedEx is joining forces with Heart to Heart International to donate $100,000 towards their ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts. They’ll do so this week by starting off the FedExCup Playoffs at THE NORTHERN TRUST with a birdie challenge between two PGA TOUR players. “This birdie challenge at the first event of the FedExCup Playoffs is a great way to bring visibility to Heart to Heart International and provide them additional financial support,†said Jenny Robertson, senior vice president of integrated marketing and communications at FedEx.

Two-hundred business owners were chosen out of almost 50,0000 applications to receive a $5,000 check as well as a $500 credit for FedEx Office® print and business services to help support their small business during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Forty-three percent of the grant recipients say they plan to use the money to upgrade or enhance their website, 40% hope to use it for marketing or advertising and 16% say they’ll create an online store. JetBlue announced a round of rapid response grants from the JetBlue Foundation. The COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected funding for non-profits and education programs. To help with immediate needs, the JetBlue Foundation issued a round of emergency grants to 12 aviation and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education grantees and partners in need of financial support to continue their critical work reaching students and communities traditionally underrepresented in these fields. The JetBlue Foundation, the first airline foundation focused solely on supporting aviation and STEM education, invited a group of previous grantees and partners to apply. This round of grants supports education programs focused on mentorship, technical education training and social justice, with a joint goal of increasing access and awareness of STEM and aviation careers. The rapid response cycle will help organizations committed to racial and gender equity that have encountered financial setbacks in achieving their missions due to the pandemic.

The firm recently announced its plans to help local and national nonprofit organizations with the following charitable funds provided by the KPMG U.S. Foundation Inc.:$500,000 in an additional donation from the U.S. firm will go to support the DRF COVID-19 launch, which is now open to all U.S. KPMG partners and employees for personal contributions.

Lam Research Corp. announced that it is committing $25 million for global COVID-19 relief and recovery efforts​. The funds will be for short-term community assistance, including supplies to hospitals, longer-term recovery for communities, and relief funds to employees. Additionally, the company has instituted a 2-for-1 matching gift campaign for employee monetary donations to eligible COVID-19 relief programs. The funds are being distributed to communities in which Lam has a presence and will be directed to that community’s specific needs, such as food security, shelter resources, and education as well as personal protective equipment for local hospitals. As part of Lam’s support to employees and their families during this global pandemic, the company has implemented pay continuity and emergency fund programs. Additionally, Lam is giving each employee around the world below the director level a support payment of $1,000 or the globally scaled equivalent amount for those outside of the United States. The goal of the payment is to empower employees to use this relief funding where they believe it will have the greatest impact. This initiative will reach over 90% of Lam’s approximately 10,700 employees.
Liberty Mutual Foundation commits $15 million in crisis funding to front-line organizations: Liberty Mutual lifted all restrictions on program grants for 374 organizations, to offer these organizations the flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those they are serving.
Liberty Mutual Insurance announced it is providing an to local nonprofit partners as part of the company’s strategic portfolio of community support in response to the coronavirus. These new grants will provide support in three critical areas: food access and distribution; elder housing with a focus on seniors who may be displaced and could be experiencing homelessness; and human services and supplies to nearly 300 immigrant families. This third phase of giving complements the $15 million in crisis grants Liberty Mutual has already distributed to nonprofit partners impacted by COVID-19 and will help provide relief to those who are unemployed as well as help supplement the social services people rely on that are currently closed or overwhelmed.
Lincoln Financial Group announced that the Lincoln Financial Foundation has rapidly responded to the immediate needs of food providers in its local communities to help address the rising demand for their services as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Lincoln Financial Group also announced that it is taking steps to support customers experiencing COVID-19-related financial challenges, including relief for retirement savers, flexibility for policyholders, and support for the community and business. The Lincoln Financial Foundation has donated a total of $2 million to more than 60 organizations across its local communities.
Lowes has pledged $15 million to be used as grants to support the fight against coronavirus.
In total, more than $1.1 billion in COVID-related support for associates, store safety and community pandemic relief. Lowe's expanded their efforts and announced $100 million in bonuses to recognize and reward front-line associates for their outstanding contributions. In addition to these bonuses, Lowe's increased pay for full-time, part-time and seasonal associates by $2 per hour for the month of April. The company also previously announced $87 million in profit-sharing bonuses to front-line associates in June and continues to offer telemedicine services to all associates and their families, even if they are not enrolled in Lowe's medical plans. The company has also increased its support of communities, providing a total of $70 million in donation commitments through grants and PPE product donations to those who need it most, including healthcare workers and minority-owned small businesses. ³¢´Ç·É±ð’s has also announced that it is increasing its minority small business grants from $25 million to $30 million while donating an additional $25 million to its small business grant program with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), doubling the amount already committed. The additional funds will focus on , which have been hard hit by the pandemic. The total $55 million commitment makes Lowe's the largest donor to LISC's Small Business Relief & Recovery Program and COVID Rapid Relief & Resiliency Fund.
LyondellBasell announced a $1.3 million donation to support the COVID-19 response efforts of the Global FoodBanking Network and United States local food banks. LyondellBasell's donation will support food banks in 17 countries and communities where the company has major operations.
MAPFRE Insurance is proud to announce that Fundación MAPFRE, a global nonprofit foundation created by MAPFRE, is donating $2.3 million to support urgent medical and community needs across Massachusetts in response to COVID-19. The funding is part of a global $38 million aid package by the foundation for medical providers and communities around the world.
MetLife Foundation announced that it is committing $25 million to the global response to COVID-19 in support of communities impacted by the pandemic. The grant funding from MetLife Foundation will span all regions where MetLife operates, and will address both short- and longer-term relief efforts. MetLife Foundation announced that it has committed to donating $1 million to food banks across the U.S. to help them deal with increased demand for their services as a result of coronavirus. MetLife Foundation will donate funds to food banks in communities where MetLife, Inc. has a significant presence, such as the greater New York City area, Cary, N.C., Tampa, Fla., and Warwick, R.I.
Morgan Stanley
In April of 2020, Morgan Stanley announced an additional $15 million in grants to support the ongoing relief efforts to the global COVID-19 crisis. Building upon the Firm’s previously announced COVID-19 relief commitment of $10 million, this new grant supports organizations that are fighting hunger as well as organizations focused on disease control, caring for the sick, and financial support for those most vulnerable in our communities who are struggling with the economic loss. Morgan Stanley has als awarded $5 million in funding to OFN for pass-through grants of approximately $50,000 - $150,000 to eligible community development financial institutions (CDFIs) with less than $20 million in assets. This funding will help CDFIs support communities disproportionately affected by COVID-19 and will strengthen the ability of the mission-based lenders to support COVID-19 rebuilding and recovery efforts. Morgan Stanley has also donated $10 million in grants to Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs) including Industrial Bank of Washington, D.C., and Citizens Trust Bank of Atlanta, GA. These grants of $5 million to each MDI will allow the banks to bolster loan loss reserves to help weather the economic impact of COVID-19 in the wake of the pandemic. In addition, the grants will help the banks assist small businesses that were affected by COVID-19, particularly those that did not receive federal relief loans, and will support additional investments into technology systems to improve delivery of customer, mortgage and business lending services.
Through a collaboration with the Public Health System and local communities, Mosaic will help procure and distribute hygiene kits, medical kits, PPE, and other items for people in need in Brazil for $560,500.

The National Grid Foundation has made a donation of $500,000 to 45 local organizations across Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island to help support hunger relief and human services for people in need and struggling from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, including those providing meals to children and families, and those assisting first responders.
The National Grid Foundation has helping its neighbors with food access, human services and emergency heating fund support assisting local communities impacted by COVID-19. With a $1.5 million donation, more than 50 non-profit organizations across New York, Mass. and Rhode Island will aid thousands of individuals with basic human needs, hunger relief, and address fuel-neutral winter energy costs. During 2020, the National Grid Foundation Board of Directors approved a total of $2 million in COVID-support funding to assist communities in need, including the currently announced gift.
National Instruments announced that $2.5 million will be immediately deployed from the National Instruments Fund, a donor advised fund established by NI in 2019 with the Austin Community Foundation, to support global and local COVID-19 relief efforts. $1 million to be made available as a matching grant to the All Together ATX Fund, created by Austin Community Foundation and United Way for Greater Austin. The fund will provide flexible resources to nonprofit organizations working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 and the economic consequences of the outbreak. The grant will match individual and corporate donations, up to a total of $1 million. $1.5 million to be deployed to nonprofit organizations that serve the other communities where NI has major global operations. The remainder of the $7 million donor advised fund is expected to be invested in STEM education and community development programs for underserved and underrepresented groups to promote opportunity and prosperity.
The New Balance Foundation has committed $2 million in non-profit grants in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to support local, regional and global communities.
Boston-based New Balance Foundation then announced it has confirmed a second round of funding as part of its pledge earlier this year to in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Adding to New Balance Foundation’s initial distribution of $500,000, select organizations from the Foundation’s network of more than 60 grantees recently received a combined total of $1.25 million in New Balance Foundation COVID-19 grants. The grants provide emergency and supplemental support to organizations including human service agencies providing food, shelter, and critical aid to underserved populations; youth serving agencies helping families with food, counseling, physical activity, and virtual learning; as well as health organizations and cultural institutions.
New Relic is supporting the communities it serves by launching a $100,000 charitable giving campaign that will match employee donations to the COVID-19 relief nonprofits in their local communities.
Nike executives are personally donating a combined $10 million to community relief efforts. Employee contributions will be matched two-to-one.
PSEG Long Island and the PSEG Foundation are supporting the Island Harvest Food Bank in its response to critical community needs throughout Long Island as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. The PSEG Foundation provided the Island Harvest Food Bank a grant of $45,000 to address rising food insecurity, including children who do not have access to school feeding programs because their schools are temporarily closed because of the public health crisis.
The PSEG Foundation announced it has committed that is devastating many of our communities. Its first and signature initiative is a $1 million donation to the NJ Pandemic Relief Fund, whose purpose is to provide support for the health care community, as well as for vulnerable age and socioeconomic groups and businesses all facing an array of challenges ranging from food insecurity to displaced workers to homelessness. The NeighborhoodLIFT program will offer $25,000 in down payment assistance to 359 eligible homebuyers. Because of COVID-19, the NeighborhoodLIFT program for six Bay Area counties is redesigned to virtually assist low- and moderate-income homebuyers purchase a home in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano counties through the collaboration with the nonprofits.
The U.S. Conference of Mayors and Wells Fargo grants to eight nonprofits to advance housing affordability solutions in local communities. The grants totaling $1 million recognize outstanding mayoral-nominated initiatives that assist their city in reducing the cost burden of housing and increase access to safe, affordable places to live. Altria Group, Inc. announced that it has committed $1 million to support immediate local coronavirus relief efforts in its headquarters community of Richmond, VA, and its other manufacturing and grower communities. As part of this initial investment, Altria provided $500,000 to the Community Foundation of Greater Richmond’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
APS announced a $1 million contribution to help nonprofit agencies with their response to COVID-19. The company will immediately distribute $500,000 to the Arizona Community Foundation and different chapters of United Way throughout Arizona. These funds will support various nonprofit organizations directly assisting individuals and families experiencing hardship due to COVID-19. Through collaboration with a broad range of partners from different sectors, APS will work quickly to assess how the remaining $500,000 commitment can best fill resource needs across Arizona. This additional funding may be issued from the APS Foundation.
BBVA USA is deploying a total of $2 million in corporate contributions to organizations that are able to implement footprint-wide efforts that support low-to-moderate income communities impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. This effort includes grants to food banks and small business support through Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that support micro and small businesses.
In parallel with its global holding company, BBVA USA has also begun working to procure essential materials and other public health support for nonprofit partners, including gloves, hand sanitizer and N95 masks. The bank is working to procure these items for distribution in April and May through its existing purchasing partners.
BBVA Group earlier announced its commitment of €35 million, helping health authorities and social organizations and fostering scientific research in countries where it operates.
BBVA USA is also providing rent relief to its third-party tenants in bank owned buildings for the month of April. The relief includes rent, all common area maintenance, parking and utilities. The bank will continue to monitor the need for additional rent relief support.
BBVA USA is engaging employees in virtual volunteerism in an effort to support community partners in locations across its footprint. The BBVA Center for Financial Education, an initiative to improve financial health and capabilities, will transition its in-person workshops to virtual education with a special focus on low-to-moderate income communities. John Hancock, Liberty Mutual, MassMutual and Vertex Foundation are among the companies that have contributed to the Boston Resiliency Fund, which is designed to provide food to Boston's children and older adults, technology to Boston Public Schools students for remote learning, and support to first responders and health care workers so they can effectively do their jobs.

The campaign will raise a minimum of $15 million, with a foundational donation from the company of $10 million, plus an employee contribution program. The company will match employee contributions at a dollar-for-dollar rate or greater, if necessary, to meet the $15 million minimum.The CBRE COVID-19 Relief Fund will support organizations that: provide frontline healthcare workers with personal protective equipment and essential medical supplies; alleviate hunger that results from the pandemic; best address the most pressing local needs around the world based on employee input.
CEMEX has carried out close to 30 sanitizations of key areas in different cities in just 15 days in Mexico. The work by CEMEX, their partners, local governmnets, and volunteers, have aided to the protection of the local community.
Citizens Bank today announced a $5 million commitment to support communities and businesses dealing with impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. These resources will back both a number of broad-based community support initiatives across the Citizens service area as well as specialized programs focused on providing aid to small businesses and their workforces.

The Coast Capital Community Relief Fund has been launched to provide flexible grants for nonprofit organizations -- located in the communities the company serves -- that are struggling with immediate lost revenue due to COVID-19. In an effort to increase funding to those frontline organizations in crisis, Coast Capital Savings will award one-time operating grants up to $10,000. Additionally, the company has set aside funding to support small businesses facing extreme hardship during this time.
The Consumers Energy Foundation is supporting two statewide organizations with a $500,000 contribution to help enhance critical services for Michigan children, vulnerable seniors and those who may need assistance.

The Fifth Third Foundation announced a $75,000 philanthropic commitment to help address the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Toledo. The funds from the Fifth Third Foundation have been deployed to meet the immediate needs of individuals in the community that seek assistance from Connecting Kids to Meals and Mobile Meals of Toledo, Inc.
Fifth Third Bank to alleviate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in the area. The funds are specifically directed to Florida’s First Coast Relief Fund, which will provide food assistance, child care support, short-term housing, technological support, and financial aid to families in Northeast Florida.
The team General Motors and Ventec Life Systems assembled to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic delivered its 30,000th V+Pro critical care ventilator to the U.S. Department of Health and Human. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, GM and Ventec collaborated to rapidly scale up production of critical care ventilators. In one month, the teams went from an introductory phone call to delivering life-saving technology to frontline medical heroes. The full federal order was completed in just 154 days, with one ventilator completed about every seven minutes.

In April 2020, Salt River Project donated $1.35 million in contributions to assist its community who might be experiencing a hardship as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. This included $500,000 to several local non-profit organizations, including the Valley of the Sun United Way, Mesa United Way and the Arizona Community Foundation. The funds helped these nonprofit agencies and several others to provide basic needs services and also to assists customers struggling to pay their electric bills due to COVID-19. SRP also donated $100,000 to the AZ Coronavirus Relief Fund to support Arizonians in need and frontline medical workers. SRP provided additional COVID relief funds to nonprofit organizations throughout its current fiscal year which runs May 2020 to April 2021. A special criteria was developed to grant COVID relief funds. Granting to nonprofits have included increased flexibility by providing general operating support in lieu of in-person event sponsorship. Restrictions for in-person event sponsorships are planned through June 2021. SRP also had more than 300 employees sign up to volunteer at a COVID vaccine site. In exchange, these volunteers will receive their first vaccine the day they volunteer and are considered ‘healthcare providers’ to allow them to schedule their second vaccine according to guidelines.
Samsung is continuing their community outreach by donating $4.3 million in COVID-19 relief to local partners in neighborhoods where a majority of our U.S. employees live and work. These donations build upon their global efforts to date, which now surpass $33 million.

A special COVID-19 pay policy was developed to enable Banfield Pet Hospital associates to take the time they need away from work during the outbreak without added stress, whether to prioritize their own health and wellbeing or to care for their loved ones. The company is temporarily expanding company-paid sick leave and has modified its PTO policy for COVID-19-related circumstances. If any associates or their family members need extra emotional support during this time, they have access to free support from professional counsellors in person, via phone, or through video calls. Clinicians are available 24/7.
Virtual volunteer efforts will include attendance in partners’ virtual board meetings, instructing online financial education classes, and mentorship through digital channels. Local BBVA employee volunteer chapters will be reaching out to partners to identify remote volunteer opportunities that can be performed during the duration of the pandemic. “Banks are considered essential businesses during this crisis, and we take that responsibility very seriously. We believe we can be an important part of the solution,†said Ocañas. “Coming at this from a position of strength, we can and will step forward to help improve the situation wherever we can.â€
In recent weeks, bank employees have been offered assistance in areas of health insurance, financial protection and work environment safety precautions. The bank made the benefits available to employees across its footprint in order to safeguard teammates during the ongoing outbreak. BBVA USA is engaging employees in virtual volunteerism in an effort to support community partners in locations across its footprint.

To continue to empower employees’ drive to support causes they care about, Blackbaud increased its employee matching gift program for the second time since January, bringing the increase to 30% in 2020. The company also began rolling out “virtual volunteerism†programs, which will augment the more than 100,000 hours its employees physically donate each year.
Campbell’s announced new support for teams at its manufacturing plants, distribution centers and in-store field-based sales, as they work to ensure neighbors have food during this critical time, including a $2 per-hour premium payment for hourly employees at all of the Company's production facilities and distribution centers; and a $100 per-week premium payment for front-line supervisors, certain site staff and depot managers who are reporting to work as essential infrastructure workers. This incentive also includes employees who oversee the Company's sales execution teams that are in stores and working with customers and independent distributors to ensure that store shelves are stocked. These premium payments will be extended to approximately 11,000 front-line team members who make, sell, and distribute products to retail customers across the country. These temporary benefits, implemented in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be in place for at least five weeks beginning March 29. Campbell’s has asked all employees and contractors who can work from home to do so.
Capital One has requested that employees work from home if they can, and will space out branch workers and others who can’t work remotely to help reduce density in workplaces.

Cigna was featured in an article in the Hartford Business Journal, recognizing its efforts to make corporate volunteerism a virtual experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. Judy Hartling, civic affairs lead analyst at Cigna offered: “Nonprofits have been very creative in shifting to more online and virtual ways to volunteer. While nothing can replace hands-on help, I think that organizations that are pivoting to really capture the value of people’s volunteerism virtually are definitely going to benefit in the long run.â€
Clorox chairman and CEO Benno Dorer released a statement addressing Clorox's call to action to support public health in the fight against COVID-19. He announced that Clorox's three priorities are maximizing supply to get its products where they are needed, protecting the health, safety and well-being of its employees, and supporting caregivers on the front lines of fighting coronavirus. Along these lines, Clorox has established an initial $1 million Employee Emergency Relief Fund to provide coronavirus-related support for Clorox employees, and have also donated $5 million to Direct Relief, Centers for Disease Control’s Foundation Emergency Response Fund and the American Red Cross.

John Deere Foundation announces a 2-for-1 match for employee donations up to $250,000 to select home-community food banks and American Red Cross chapters. For example, employee donations of $250,000 plus the Foundation's $500,000 match would provide $750,000 in much-needed support to these organizations. The company also announced it will waive copays, coinsurance, and deductibles for COVID-19 testing for employees.

Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana established a fund to provide every licensed dentist in their tristate region a $1,000 credit for dental products and personal protective equipment, so they can maintain care and keep their communities healthy as patients begin seeing their dentists again.
DuPont is has donated three types of personal protective garments to the most affected areas through the China Red Cross Foundation, to protect healthcare workers and front-line personnel. DuPont also contributed probiotic products to help regulate and improve immunity. These donated materials have been allocated by the China Red Cross Foundation to the most needed areas.
Employees with symptoms or a positive COVID-19 test results will be granted an additional two weeks of paid sick leave. Dutch Bros is partnering with ASRV to provide our employees with masks in a buy one, give one program. Each mask purchased will allow 1-3 masks to be donated to areas where medical professionals are most in need of them. Dutch Bros is providing an extra $3 thank you pay through the end of April to baristas who choose to continue working.
On #GivingTuesdayNow, Estée Lauder created the ELC Cares Employee Relief Fund. The fund will provide critical financial relief to ELC employees worldwide who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
FedEx is working with relief organizations to transport urgently-needed supplies quickly and efficiently to those who need it most. The company has delivered humanitarian aid to China on behalf of multiple organizations including Direct Relief since Jan. 31. The aid has been sent to hospitals and local governments in need. These shipments include masks, face shields, coveralls, shoe covers and gloves. FedEx is also working with International Medical Corps to ship face masks and medical supplies to the Philippines for Coronavirus protection. FedEx is helping humanitarian aid organization, Direct Relief ship and distribute 250,000 N95 masks to other personal protective equipment to nearly 1,000 community health centers and free clinics in all 50 states that are playing a critical frontline role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. The deliveries by FedEx are a part of FedEx Cares' "Delivering for Good Initiative."
Fifth-Third Bank announced that it is giving a special payment to employees who are providing essential banking services to customers during the coronavirus pandemic. Fifth Third will provide its customer service and other employees who work on site a special payment of up to $1000, which will be paid in $500 installments in April and May.

General Mills has announced a series of actions to support its employees and communities in response to the impact of COVID-19, including: an opportunity for corporate employees to work at manufacturing plants; enhanced benefits for plant employees, including a daily bonus; and $5 million in charitable grants by the General Mills Foundation to support food access in key global markets and support for the company's manufacturing communities around the world.
Most GM employees are working from home to reduce the spread of the virus. GM employees are rolling up their sleeves to donate blood and assemble face masks in addition to donating to United Way’s 211 and DonorsChoose.
Honda will pay full wages as it enacts temporary production shutdown in US
As the coronavirus continues its spread in the US and North America, Honda has pulled the plug for a week. The novel coronavirus, which causes COVID-19, has led to mass production disruptions across Europe, but Honda has become the first automaker to declare a stoppage in North America.
To address growing demand of masks during the outbreak of the coronavirus disease, COVID-19, Honeywell is quickly ramping up production and making millions of the N95 masks in the United States. Those N95 face masks will be delivered to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for use to support health, safety and emergency response workers.
Honeywell expects the new mask production line in Smithfield will create at least 500 jobs. Recruiting, hiring and training manufacturing workers will begin immediately.
Iron Mountain has an established employee relief fund that was designed to support employees in times of tragedy. In the past, the fund has helped employees and their families recovering from events like natural disasters or house fires, but can now be used to support employees impacted most by COVID-19.
Just Born Quality Confections has provided Virtual Volunteer Opportunities to our associates. They are encouraging them to volunteer from the safety of their own homes by making fabric masks, writing cards and donating needed items to local non-profits.
Although deemed an “essential business†by state and federal authorities, Just Born Quality Confections made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend production at the end of March to help “flatten the curve†while helping ensure the health and safety of our associates, which is our top priority. During this time, all Just Born Associates will continue to be paid.
Our internal COVID-19 task force will continue to regularly monitor the impact of the virus and unless the situation worsens, we plan to get back to producing our iconic candy on 5/4/20. Kroger Co. said it is providing a coronavirus test for its employees to use at home, as retailers and other companies redouble efforts to protect employees and customers amid the pandemic. Kroger is processing the tests in a partnership with Gravity Diagnostics LLC, a Kentucky-based laboratory-testing company. The Food and Drug Administration said it authorized the partnership’s kit in June. Kroger and Gravity said they plan to have the capacity to process 60,000 tests a week by the end of July.
Kroger recently to all associates who receive the full manufacturer-recommended doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. In addition to the new vaccine payment, the company also announced an additional $50 million investment to thank and reward associates across its 35-state footprint, including a $100 store credit and 1,000 fuel points for hourly frontline grocery, supply chain, manufacturing, pharmacy and call center associates.

Target stores across the country continue helping millions of guests shop for the food, medicine and other essentials they need, the retailer today announced new safety measures to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Toyota is supporting its manufacturing workforce with childcare offerings. About 45 children of Toyota employees are attending a new virtual-learning center at a car plant in Georgetown, KY, run by Bright Horizons Family Solutions Inc. The children use laptops to do schoolwork, while in-person teachers monitor their progress. Toyota said this has helped workers show up and be more productive at work. “They don’t need to stress about how their kids will do school,†said Myriah Sweeney, who helps oversee the program at Toyota.
Travelers announced that it will accelerate commission payments to eligible agents and brokers to help them address the liquidity impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. In total, Travelers is accelerating more than $100 million, a significant boost of cash flow to its distribution partners when they need it most.

The company will work with and prioritize network demand in assisting the needs of many U.S. hospitals, first responders and government agencies. Like any crisis or significant event in which additional network resources may be needed, the company is able to deploy additional resources to add capacity and has a fleet of mobile assets including portable COLTs (cells on light trucks) and COWs (cells on wheels/trucks), mobile charging stations, and more to support first responders and their mission critical needs.

Wells Fargo has also activated assistance for employees via its WE Care Fund, which provides grants to Wells Fargo colleagues who face a catastrophic disaster or financial hardship resulting from an event beyond their control. This program is available to those affected by coronavirus and is intended to help team members, especially those with limited resources, get back on their feet with basic necessities.
Wells Fargo adjusted its short-term disability plan for U.S.-based employees so that, if they test positive for COVID-19, they will not need to use paid time off during the seven-day waiting period. U.S. medical plans were updated to eliminate coinsurance and fully cover the cost of any medically necessary screening and testing for COVID-19. In addition, through June 14, 2020, cost sharing will be reduced to zero dollars for medical virtual office visits for any reason at a number of providers. Wells Fargo granted up to five paid business days off after a school system’s closure announcement to U.S. hourly employees who can’t work remotely so they can find child care. Approximately 170,000 U.S. and international employees received a special one-time cash award to recognize their focus and dedication to the company throughout 2019, and employees whose roles require they come into the office to serve customers or other employees will receive additional cash payments.

The funds will help increase medical response capacity, address food insecurity, increase access to learning as a result of school closures, and provide support to the world’s most vulnerable populations.
Berkshire Bank announced that its Foundation will make $130,000 in donations to Food Banks in communities across its markets to address the increased demand for food assistance resulting from COVID-19. These additional contributions raise the bank’s financial commitment to addressing food insecurity to more than $180,000 in 2020. The pandemic has severely impacted all of the communities that Berkshire Bank serves, and food insecurity remains a considerable need. As a result, food banks face significant increased demand for services. These funds will allow food banks to continue to support the local food pantries that directly provide emergency relief and feeding assistance in the communities where Berkshire Bank employees and customers live and work.

These grants were made to national and regional partners with the scale to make a large impact on relief efforts across Campbell communities. CITGO retailers in Mount Pleasant, Michigan are stepping up to Fuel Good in the local community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The CITGO stations are providing $0.99 meals for children unable to rely on school lunches during the statewide stay-at-home order.
In an effort to assist vulnerable communities cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Simón BolÃvar Foundation, the non-profit, private foundation of CITGO Petroleum Corporation, an initiative that will provide grants of up to $50,000 on a rolling basis to qualified nonprofits to develop food assistance projects. "The Foundation partnered with local nonprofits and Venezuelan restaurants to provide hot meals to families impacted by the pandemic," said Mariela Poleo, president of the Simón BolÃvar Foundation. The success of the pilot program confirmed the need for this type of initiative to help the Venezuelan diaspora in the United States. "Because the response was strong and immediate," she continued, "we quickly worked to create the framework to accommodate an open call to more organizations interested in developing similar efforts in more cities."

General Mills created an app with Feeding America to prevent food waste from this year's Super Bowl, but the app is proving to be useful once again. Food from restaurants and cafeterias that would go to waste during times of self-quarantine can now be donated to Feeding America through the Meal Connect app.

Cheerios has donated $1.3 million to No Kid Hungry, a national campaign focused on ending childhood hunger in America, and is now who struggled with food insecurity as a child. The critical funding from Cheerios and additional donation support from fans tuning in to Harris’ content series will provide resources and grants to feed kids in critical areas across the country, including Harris’ second hometown of Corsicana, Texas. A portion of Cheerios’ donation will benefit Corsicana’s local FJV Foundation in their efforts to build a food pantry, which will allow them to serve more families in the community.
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation also announced it will contribute $52,000 to The Dimock Center to sponsor and coordinate the Boston COVID-19 Relief Meal Delivery Project. Starting today and running through at least May 5th, Boston-based caterers Fresh Food Generation and Commonwealth Kitchen will prepare approximately 600 weekly meals for The Dimock Center’s Early Education families. As part of this project, meals will be delivered twice weekly to The Dimock Center in Roxbury for pick-up with full compliance for social distancing. As a result of The Dimock Center’s sponsorship of the meals program with Fresh Food Generation, 15 people will now be back to work helping others.

JetBlue's crewmembers in Fort Lauderdale came together to donate snacks to healthcare workers at the Broward Health Medical Center. Crewmember volunteers delivered dozens of boxes of snacks and Eat Up boxes to the heroes who are working around the clock to help combat the coronavirus pandemic. They also teamed up with longstanding partners at TERRA to donate 100,000 bags of chips to be distributed to those in need. This donation to Feeding America will go directly to those in our local communities who need it most.
LyondellBasell announced a $1.3 million donation to support the COVID-19 response efforts of the Global FoodBanking Network and United States local food banks. LyondellBasell's donation will support food banks in 17 countries and communities where the company has major operations.
Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) announced a joint donation of $1 million to help fight hunger as a result of school closures and quarantines stemming from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Through the Subaru Love Promise, a commitment to support its communities, Subaru and its retailers across the country are making a donation to provide 50 million meals to Feeding America. Sysco announced it will donate 2.5 million meals over the next four weeks as part of its community response strategy to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sysco has worked with suppliers, customers, government entities, and key partners to over the last four weeks as part of its community response strategy to COVID-19. Their four-pronged community response strategy supports food redistribution efforts across the global supply chain, including product donations, direct delivery to food banks and other hunger relief organizations, the loaning of refrigerated trucks and facility storage space to increase capacity for local food distribution, and volunteer and staffing support for mobile distribution efforts.
Sysco has since announced that it across eight countries since mid-March as part of its community response strategy to the COVID-19 pandemic. These donations were valued at over $100 million and included nearly 16 million pounds of fresh produce and approximately six million pounds of fresh dairy products.
TELUS has committed $10 million for COVID-19 response, specifically to help support and enhance public healthcare capacity and community response across Canada. Texas Mutual has committed $2 million in grant funding or nonprofit organizations across the state that are vital to COVID-19 relief and recovery. The grants will go to 40 nonprofit organizations, including Meals on Wheels, United Way, local food banks, community health organizations, and more that are on the front lines of the COVID-19 efforts. It has also donated $50,000 to All Together ATX, a partnership of Austin Community Foundation and United Way for Greater Austin, focused on lifting all Central Texans and the organizations that support them. Additionally, a number of nonprofit organizations that received workforce development grants from Texas Mutual earlier this year have been released to use those grants not just on specific programs but for meeting the needs they have now, whether that is payroll for staff or supplies to serve those in need. Through this grant, World Central Kitchen will create and serve as many as 100,000 meals to doctors, nurses, soldiers, police officers, EMTs, and first responders. In South Los Angeles, Wells Fargo provided a $10,000 grant to the nonprofit Big Sunday, enabling it to purchase meals from local restaurants to feed Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital employees dinner every Wednesday in April.

Columbia Bank announced that it has funded nearly $1 billion in loans to more than 4,400 small businesses through the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The loans will provide relief for more than 70,000 workers throughout the Northwest that have been affected by the economic fallout from COVID-19.
Columbia’s new Pass it On Project also aims to put small businesses throughout the Northwest back to work with a focus on those struggling the most. Through this program, Columbia will pay small businesses more than $500,000 to perform services for people whose lives have been adversely impacted by the pandemic or the economic downturn it caused.
Comerica Bank and Comerica Charitable Foundation will invest $4 million in community programming support and businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. These funds will be primarily deployed to Community Development Financial Institutions to support strategic programs designed to meet the needs of small and micro businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19. FedEx announced the completion of the company’s #SupportSmall Grants program. Two-hundred business owners were chosen out of almost 50,0000 applications to receive a $5,000 check as well as a $500 credit for FedEx Office® print and business services to help support their small business during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Forty-three percent of the grant recipients say they plan to use the money to upgrade or enhance their website, 40% hope to use it for marketing or advertising and 16% say they’ll create an online store. Approximately 47% of the grants were issued to minority and women-owned businesses. Grantees can use the $500 credit from FedEx Office for printing banners, posters, floor graphics, custom branded boxes and more.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts ("the League") to help provide equitable access to COVID-19 vaccinations. Blue Cross will contribute $1 million to fund free rides to and from COVID-19 vaccination sites across the state to support community health centers, underserved communities, and vulnerable populations. The new initiative was announced during a press conference today with Governor Charlie Baker at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. Blue Cross' contribution will support tens of thousands of free rides to and from COVID-19 vaccination sites. The goal is to launch the program in the next few weeks in coordination with the League, which will assist in identifying participating community health centers. "The goal now is to get people vaccinated, and access to those appointments is critical," said Andrew Dreyfus, Blue Cross' president and CEO. "We know lack of access to transportation is a significant barrier in communities hard hit by COVID-19. The Community Health Centers' deep experience will help connect more of our neighbors with vaccines that can save lives and help end the pandemic."

Commitments made by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina to provide financial support to members, employers, providers, and community organizations to address the COVID-19 pandemic are projected to reach up to $593 million, with $318 million in projected costs to improve access to care and $275 million projected to address cash flow challenges facing members, employers and providers. Blue Cross NC’s swift action to increase access to care for members during the COVID-19 crisis is projected to result in up to $313 million in financial support. Blue Cross NC is also immediately providing an additional $5 million to support organizations improving access to food and other critical community needs, and is taking action to improve cash flow for members, employers and providers by providing an additional $275 million.
Starting immediately Blue Shield is waiving all cost-sharing and any prior approval for Covid-19 testing prescribed by a physician for all members enrolled in Blue Shield’s fully insured commercial and Medi-Cal plans. This includes cost-sharing for hospital, urgent care, emergency room, and office visits where the visit is to screen or test for the virus. Blue Shield also will not require prior authorization for medically necessary emergency care, consistent with our current practice.

CommScope is working with nonprofit organizations and its partners and employees to provide much needed assistance around the world for the COVID-19 pandemic. In China, Europe, and the U.S., CommScope donated product and expedited delivery of in-building wireless systems as new hospitals were built to support COVID-19 patients.
