What is the Advisory Board on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion?
 Are you committed to building a culture of inclusion at your organization? Are you working to create more equitable communities in our broader society? Join this forum to exchange ideas and work with peers on programs that support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in your company and beyond.Â
This board works to explore and develop best practices for imbedding DE&I principles into all corporate citizenship decisions. It is designed to help members reinforce a culture of inclusion in their companies and beyond. Members share challenges and problem solve with peers in a safe space, while building on the ideas and lessons of others working in a similar job function.

Advisory Board members work together to identify and correct institutional bias, discrimination, and all forms of workplace inequality. Members can expect to:
- Participate in an ongoing dialogue about LGBTQI+ issues, racial and gender equity
- Exchange ideas and work with peers on diverse workforce recruitment and retention strategies
- Gain knowledge and insight into best practices for DEI programs
- Explore cross-sector collaboration with H51²è¹ÝUs, minority-owned suppliers, and non-profit groups working to promote DE&I in the community
Each year the board will work as a group to set the advisory agenda to be explored. Advisory Board members will have the opportunity to present their own work and to recommend guest topics and/or speakers. Members will help to shape one or more advisory bulletin publications focused on emerging themes and best practices in corporate DE&I practices. Advisory board members are invited (but not required) to be named co-authors of the advisory bulletin publications.
