Amplified music may be played outside only during these times: Monday-Thursday: after 4:00pm and ending by 6:00pm Fridays and weekends: after 3:00pm and ending by 6:00pm 3. Contracts with performers must specify that 51 has right to control the volume of the performance. 4. For all events with amplified sound, the Office of State and Community Affairs and the Boston College Police Department should be notified. Occasionally, one of these offices will write a letter notifying the neighbors. 5. All attempts to point the speakers toward a building to minimize sound traveling toward neighbors houses are encouraged. 6. Anyone wishing to utilize any outside area for demonstration purposes must contact the Office of the Dean for Student Development to register the demonstration and receive a demonstration permit. Patrick Rombalski thinks the policy can be easily tweaked to mostly accommodate our specific request and will take up this issue in Student Affairs and with the Bureau of Conferences. Student Affairs is making efforts to prioritize the work of the faculty and students in the classroom. Update and discussion of Peer Teaching Report following presentation to the Provosts Advisory Council and Council of Deans Both groups received the report positively. Report also discussed at the A&S Board of Chairs meeting. Provosts Office will come up with list of resources to help faculty with teaching Deans will distribute to Departments and Discuss with Chairs Final Report voted upon and approved unanimously with minor edits. Final report will be forwarded to the Provost Discussion of On-Line Course Evaluation Review Have not yet undone the popularity of PEPS Students want to see comments May need to ask different questions May need to make it easier for students to get data Clear set of summary statistics needed Maybe need a longer timeframe for completion but may not have a good response Possible question about what grade student expects for course but this would not assure anonymity What would be useful as 51 considers a new vendor? Ideas for topics for next year Course withdrawal deadline Grade inflation & distribution of data reports UCT hosting a speaker series Re-visit interdisciplinary teaching innovations Set aside TAM/TAME funds for interdisciplinary teaching Respectfully submitted by Akua Sarr June 9, 2011 6<ZyH J W _ a r s t  a e Iab;CHIJ빳ٳ٪١~~~xohOh%CJ hw'CJ hIoCJ hF5CJhOhw'5CJ hO5CJ h%CJhOhw'CJhOhOCJ hOCJhOhw5CJhOh[Up5CJH*hOh875CJhOh[UpCJhOh CJhOh[Up5CJhOh 5CJ+.CNYZyI J s t ! ? @ b c  t?@`gd:jgdO`ab EIJyzC*+gdO & Fgdw'gdw'h^hgdw' & Fgdw'gd:jJy+JABOhOh~CJhOh CJhOhO5CJ hD NCJhOhOCJhOhw'CJhOhw'5CJ+JKfBOgd gdO & FgdO T^T`gdO 21h:p^>/ =!"#$% 666666666vvvvvvvvv666666>6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666hH6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666866666662 0@P`p2( 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p(8HX`~PJ_HmH nH sH tH @`@ ^>NormalCJ_HaJmH sH tH DA D Default Paragraph FontRiR 0 Table Normal4 l4a (k ( 0No List VV 7 Colorful List - Accent 11 ^m$@@@ w'List Paragraph ^m$PK!pO[Content_Types].xmlj0Eжr(΢]yl#!MB;.n̨̽\A1&ҫ QWKvUbOX#&1`RT9<l#$>r `С-;c=1g'}ʅ$I1Ê9cY<;*v7'aE\h>=,*8;*4?±ԉoAߤ>82*<")QHxK |]Zz)ӁMSm@\&>!7;ɱʋ3װ1OC5VD Xa?p S4[NS28;Y[꫙,T1|n;+/ʕj\\,E:! t4.T̡ e1 }; [z^pl@ok0e g@GGHPXNT,مde|*YdT\Y䀰+(T7$ow2缂#G֛ʥ?q NK-/M,WgxFV/FQⷶO&ecx\QLW@H!+{[|{!KAi `cm2iU|Y+ ި [[vxrNE3pmR =Y04,!&0+WC܃@oOS2'Sٮ05$ɤ]pm3Ft GɄ-!y"ӉV . `עv,O.%вKasSƭvMz`3{9+e@eՔLy7W_XtlPK! ѐ'theme/theme/_rels/themeManager.xml.relsM 0wooӺ&݈Э5 6?$Q ,.aic21h:qm@RN;d`o7gK(M&$R(.1r'JЊT8V"AȻHu}|$b{P8g/]QAsم(#L[PK-!pO[Content_Types].xmlPK-!֧6 -_rels/.relsPK-!kytheme/theme/themeManager.xmlPK-!!Z!theme/theme/theme1.xmlPK-! ѐ'( theme/theme/_rels/themeManager.xml.relsPK]# O JO `+O 8@0(   B S  ?Q R[_Q :::L|Y@ $o 83Fh_ 2~V- !+w%عJZ*" S<@6e-`>|un@JO|Bp.:iEFJ 3tKnTV .`^^l {\c|fR4h@^l2^`o(.^`.pL^p`L.@ ^@ `.^`.L^`L.^`.^`.PL^P`L. ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o p^p`OJQJo( @ ^@ `OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o P^P`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o p^p`OJQJo( @ ^@ `OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o P^P`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o p^p`OJQJo( @ ^@ `OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o P^P`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(p^p`OJQJ^Jo(o @ ^@ `OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(P^P`OJQJ^Jo(o  ^ `OJQJo(^`o(.^`.pL^p`L.@ ^@ `.^`.L^`L.^`.^`.PL^P`L. ^`OJQJo(p^p`OJQJ^Jo(o @ ^@ `OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(P^P`OJQJ^Jo(o  ^ `OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`o(. p^p`OJQJo( @ ^@ `OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o P^P`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo( ^ `OJQJ^Jo(o  ^ `OJQJo( x^x`OJQJo(H^H`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(p^p`OJQJ^Jo(o @ ^@ `OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(P^P`OJQJ^Jo(o  ^ `OJQJo( ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo( p^p`OJQJo( @ ^@ `OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o P^P`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o p^p`OJQJo( @ ^@ `OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o P^P`OJQJo(^`5o(.^`.pL^p`L.@ ^@ `.^`.L^`L.^`.^`.PL^P`L.^`o(.^`.pL^p`L.@ ^@ `.^`.L^`L.^`.^`.PL^P`L. ^`OJQJo(p^p`OJQJ^Jo(o @ ^@ `OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(P^P`OJQJ^Jo(o  ^ `OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o p^p`OJQJo( @ ^@ `OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o P^P`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o p^p`OJQJo( @ ^@ `OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o P^P`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o p^p`OJQJo( @ ^@ `OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o P^P`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o p^p`OJQJo( @ ^@ `OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o ^`OJQJo( ^`OJQJo(^`OJQJ^Jo(o P^P`OJQJo(`^^Z*un@|B-`>3F {\cVR4h S<Y@ w%^l$o tKiEFL- !                                                                                                            ^eN                                                               %w'y0^>-CD NHOP.T\#aIo[UpT,twOF58:j`k~877c9n) K9O Q @XO h@UnknownG*Ax Times New Roman5Symbol3 *Cx Arial7@ Calibri? *Cx Courier New;WingdingsA$BCambria Math 1h)2{S S 0I I B#HP $P'K92!xx Darren J KisgenHepburnX               Oh+'0x  ( 4 @ LX`hp'Darren J Kisgen Normal.dotmHepburn6Microsoft Macintosh Word@0@(@\NGT7@.f7S  ՜.+,0 hp  'Boston CollegeI   Title  !"#$%&'()*+,-./012345789:;<=?@ABCDEHRoot Entry F' f7J1TableRIWordDocument4 SummaryInformation(6DocumentSummaryInformation8>CompObj` F Microsoft Word 97-2004 DocumentNB6WWord.Document.8
