I am grateful for the education that I received at Boston College which provided me with many more career opportunities. While attending Boston College, I worked at the law school and availed myself of the tuition remission benefit. Because of this, I felt it important to give of my time by becoming involved as an active member of the Alumni Association. This involvement has included being a Class Correspondent for Woods College as well as serving on the elected Board of Directors from 1982 through 1984 and President of the Evening College Alumni from 1984 through 1985. My favorite Professors included Jeff Flagg for his enthusiasm, Peter Kreeft who inspired me to appreciate my faith, and Raymond Flannery who made a significant statement that I have adhered to in my life. After retiring from the Court system, I began working part time at Brady & Fallon Funeral Home in Jamaica Plain and then obtained a second part time job at St. Michael Cemetery in Roslindale. Also, I am a volunteer chaplain at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton. As a hobby, I enjoy doing cross stitch. My favorite spot at Boston College is the walkway outside St. Mary's Hall.

In 1989, I was invited to the Evening College Senior Graduation Dinner at Pier 4. That night I found out that an Alumni group existed, but the group was very small and only planned a few events a year. I wanted to expand this into a much wider participation. It’s great to see how it has expanded since then. The Laetare Sunday breakfast and Professor Andrew Buni are two of my most prominent memories from my time at 51²è¹Ý. I’m now retired from business for a few years now and keeping busy. In addition to being on the Alumni Council, I am also on the local Lions Club Board of Directors where we develop many fundraising events for those in need. I also have 8 grandchildren who always need something.

I am a 2003 graduate of Woods College (MS). I have headed two service projects for Woods, Cradles to Crayons and Mass Housing Project. I also served as president from 2010-2012. I have been a Board Member for almost 20 years, as well as an arbitrator for American Arbitration and a mediator for state police and fire (JLMC). My goal for 2021-22 is to get younger members involved in all Woods activities and gatherings.
