Edward Chazen teaches a variety of real estate courses for undergraduate and graduate students at Boston College. He joined the 51²è¹Ý faculty in 2015 after teaching at Brandeis University. In addition to teaching, Prof. Chazen wrote 12 case studies about real estate projects that are used in his courses. He also has consulted to private developers and the City of Newton about real estate development, and is active in various Boston College faculty committees.
Before teaching full time Prof. Chazen worked for 28 years in the real estate development and investment industry, including GE Capital, TCW Realty Advisors and BNY Mellon Asset Management. He also was an adjunct professor at Boston University and Babson College teaching real estate development and finance.
