Ki-Soon Choi is an assistant professor of accounting at the Boston College Carroll School of Management. He is broadly interested in determinants and consequences of disclosure, particularly in areas that lie in the intersection of accounting and finance.Â
Choi's research focuses on studying how disclosures by corporations and funds influence the behavior of various parties, such as investors, managers, and competitors. In his dissertation, he examines the role of portfolio disclosures in the mutual fund industry, using the adoption of Form N-PORT as a regulatory shock.
