We asked Carroll School students on Instagram to send in photos of their 鈥�51茶馆 classrooms鈥� at home鈥攖heir remote learning workspaces. AJ Kelly 鈥�20, Rumson, NJ

With a photo of Boston College鈥檚 iconic Gasson Hall as a screen saver and a football signed by former Eagles running back AJ Dillon 鈥�21 on his desk, AJ Kelly has brought a bit of the Heights to his parents鈥� basement in Rumson, New Jersey. (The space is in high demand, as AJ needs to share it with three siblings who are also engaged in online learning.) Sometimes the senior listens to vinyl (such as the Khalid album seen here) on his record player. As for the ball, he says, 鈥淚鈥檒l often pick it up and toss it around,鈥� while taking a break from his studies (Finance and Business Analytics, with a minor in theology), 鈥渂ut I鈥檓 careful to keep it in good condition.鈥�
Ellie Daigle 鈥�22,听The Woodlands, TX

Accounting student Ellie Daigle sets up at poolside at her parents鈥� home in The Woodlands, Texas, where the weather has been warm enough to swim. 鈥淚 do take swim breaks between online classes,鈥� the sophomore confirms. Joining her in the outdoor classroom is Millie, the Daigles鈥� golden retriever.
Kit Popolo 鈥�20, Dallas, TX

Kit Popolo is back in Dallas for the time being, along with her parents, Chris and Joe Popolo Jr. 鈥�89, and her brothers, Buck 鈥�23 and Connor. Kit carries on her Accounting for Finance and Consulting studies and art history minor from a neatly appointed antique desk festooned with flowers as well as memorabilia from her high school alma mater, Ursuline Academy, and her college alma鈥憁ater鈥憈o鈥慴e.
Patrick Flanagan 鈥�20,听Harvard, MA

Senior Patrick Flanagan has moved back in with his parents and sister in the town of Harvard, Mass., to finish out his Finance studies. 鈥淚 had to rearrange my [bedroom] in order to make space for the desk and to comfortably do work,鈥� Flanagan says. 鈥淟astly, I hung up my banner to rep 51茶馆!鈥澨�
Gabby LaTorre 鈥�21,听Madison, CT

At home with her parents and brother in Connecticut, Gabby LaTorre shares the dining room table with her mother, a lawyer who is working remotely鈥攁nd Phinny, the family鈥檚 golden retriever. Gabby majors in Islamic Civilizations and Societies in Morrissey College and minors in Management and Leadership at the Carroll School.
Melissa Gaglia 鈥�20,听Brooklyn, NY

Marketing student Melissa Gaglia is back home in Brooklyn, New York, where she鈥檚 taken over the old desk of her sister, Michelle 鈥�12, who is now a medical student. As suggested by the desk d茅cor, both sisters are big fans of New York sports teams as well as the Boston College Eagles. Melissa parried and riposted as a member of 51茶馆鈥檚 Division 1 fencing team. She also played basketball with special needs students as a volunteer at Brookline High School. 鈥淚 learned how sports really bring people together in more ways than people acknowledge,鈥� she says. 鈥淭his is really what fueled my passion for sports and made me realize how it can shape me to be a woman for others.鈥澨�
Chris Agugliaro 鈥�21, Lavallette, NJ

Christopher Agugliaro has found a quiet corner for his no-frills set-up at home in New Jersey. Besides being a guitarist and a double concentrator in Accounting and Managing for Social Impact, Chris has sold ads for , assembled pads for NFL players, and served as an Ever to Excel mentor.
Rachel Drake 鈥�23,听Boulder, CO

Rachel Drake has returned to Boulder, Colorado, where she was a member of Niwot High School鈥檚 state championship-winning tennis team. Encouraged by a few motivational sayings posted behind her laptop, Rachel is continuing her studies (Marketing) remotely, 5,328 feet above sea level, so it鈥檚 hard to say that she鈥檚 left the Heights behind.
Caroline DiCenso 鈥�21, Boston, MA

Caroline DiCenso is currently living with her parents in Boston鈥檚 West Roxbury neighborhood. She is a double major (economics and political science) in Morrissey College, and a communications and marketing assistant at the Carroll School. 鈥淚t鈥檚 always been this neat,鈥� Caroline says of her desk. 鈥淥therwise, I have a hard time focusing.鈥�
Drew Barksdale 鈥�17, Solon, OH

Carroll School Assistant Director of Undergraduate Career Engagement Drew Barksdale is living in and working remotely from his parents鈥� house outside Cleveland. He鈥檚 taken over an underused sitting room. There, among other duties, he records the Carroll School鈥檚 career advice podcast, . (Note the pro microphone on his desk.) Also prominent in the space: Drew鈥檚 jersey from the 2017 Pinstripe Bowl鈥攈e was a wide receiver for the Eagles.
Will Harrington 鈥�23,听Boston, MA

Will Harrington is back at home with his parents and sister in Boston鈥檚 Roslindale neighborhood. With a view of the West Roxbury Parkway out his bedroom window and a 51茶馆 hat above his screen, Will especially enjoys participating in his business law course.
