Giving
A Gift of Your Time
Our first hope is that friends and alumni of the IS Program will consider giving some of their time to advise or mentor current IS majors/minors as they consider internships, jobs, fellowships, and graduate programs. To that end, please consider:
- telling us about yourself in our Alumni Survey
- enrolling in 51²è¹Ý's mentoring site, Eagle Exchange
- joining our IS Program LinkedIn group
Financial Gifts
Of course, financial gifts are also crucial to the success of our program, and we welcome conversations about general or specific support for ongoing or new initiatives in the IS Program. Gifts to our Discretionary Fund will support programs such as:
- career mentoring events and services;Â
- student research, retreats, prizes, and academic travel;Â
- academic lectures and workshops;Â
- faculty research;Â
- special projects such as the Global Engagement Portal, the Global Citizenships Project, and the IS Summit retreat.
We invite you to make a contribution using the button below, or contact Professor Erik Owens, Director of International Studies (erik.owens@bc.edu or 617-552-1861) to talk about giving opportunities. Thank you!
