Tanisha Williams is a Digital Teaching Support Specialist and joined 51²è¹Ý in 2020 as a Learning Design Contractor, but joined theÌýInnovation team in late 2021.Ìý Tanisha graduated with her Bachelors Degree from the College of New Rochelle and her Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Strayer University. Tanisha entered the field of Adult Education in 2010 as an Adjunct Professor of Business/Freshman Studies. After identifyingÌýteaching as her purpose in life, she worked at various colleges and workforce programs such as Monroe College, IndependenceÌýUniversity, and Grace Institute teaching various courses from Computer Applications to Human Resource Management.
In 2019, Tanisha explored newer territory of HigherÌýEducation and joined the Academic Technology team as an Instructional Designer and Faculty Academic Support Specialist. She worked with various departments toÌýdevelopÌýundergraduate online courses and provide training and coaching for new faculty in using the LMS platform. She enjoys working with faculty.Ìý
Tanisha resides in Brooklyn, NY, and when she is not working, she enjoys traveling to warm climates and sitting poolside, enjoying a good book. Tanisha loves to watch classics such as Golden Girls, drinking good coffee, and spending time with her niece.
