Google is ending its offering of unlimited storage in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos). Due to this change, starting May 1, 2024, storage quotas will be applied to all 51²è¹Ý Google accounts, as follows:
- Individual User Accounts: 250GB
- : 500GB
- Shared Mailboxes: 10GB
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Stay below storage quota: Starting May 1, 2024, you will need to stay under your storage limit for your Drive, Gmail, and Photos. If your account runs out of storage, your services will be disrupted until you free up more space (e.g. You will be unable to add/edit files in Google Drive or Google Photos).
- High storage individuals: If you are currently over the limit in either your individual or shared 51²è¹Ý Google account, you will receive additional communications next week with information on how to reduce storage in your account.Ìý
