Resource Calendar (Room) Owners
Calendar Resources can be rooms, projectors, or other shared resources. Be sure to set up your calendar on Google and set up sharing with anyone who needs access to the resource.
Setup Google Calendar on Apple Calendar & Outlook
Sync Apple's Calendar with 51²è¹Ý Google Workspace
- Open Calendar.
- In the toolbar, click Calendar, then Preferences.
- Click the Accounts tab.
- In the accounts pane on the left, click the + button to add an account.
- Enter the following information:
- Account Type: Google
- Email Address: username@bc.edu
- Password: Secondary Password

Sync Additional Calendars With Apple's Calendar and Other iOS Devices
By default, any calendars that appear in the My calendars section on the web, as well as the Contacts’ birthdays and events calendar, will be synced. Follow these steps to sync any additional calendars, or remove any of My calendars from syncing to Apple's Calendar:
- Go to the
- Select or deselect the calendars you’d like displayed.
- Click the save button.
- Refresh Calendar, or close and restart in order to see your new selection.
These settings will apply to any device you sync using CalDAV, such as your iPhone or other iOS device.
Apple's Contacts
Use CardDAV to sync your Google Contacts with your Mac. CardDAV is supported on Mac OS X 10.7 and above.Ìý
- On your Mac, go to Applications > Contacts.
- In the Contacts application, go to Contacts > Preferences > Accounts > + In the window that pops up, enter the following:
- Account type: Google
- Username: username@bc.edu
- Password: Secondary Password
- Server address: google.com
- Your contacts will now start syncing from your Google account with your Mac. Any new contacts you make on your Mac will sync with your Google account, and any new contacts in your Google account will sync with your Mac.
